Discover and service long-term relationships with customers.
Collaborate with customers to design or develop products that result in sales growth, margin improvement, and increased reliability.
Manage accounts of at least $25M annual revenue.
Price negotiations, including LTA and cost-down proposals.
Comprehensive sales planning and forecasting.
Product design proposals, testing and development.
Network and develop customer contacts.
Organize and prepare technical reports.
Make commercial and technical presentations.
Identify and implement cost saving opportunities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanica Engineering or Engineering Technologies, or other closely related field. Candidates with Associate's degree in combination with significant and directly related experience will also be considered.
Five (5) years experience in the automotive, heavy truck, or diesel engine producing industries.
Additional language skills (German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Portugese) are desirable.
Ability to travel, both foreign and domestic, as needed to support customer needs and expectations.
High working knowledge of MS-Office applications.
Knowledge of auto industry culture, terminologies and general procedures and processes.
