Aufgaben

  • Must manage and be capable to review all aspects of: 1.) Microstructure, including decarburization, carburization, Delta Ferrite, micro hardness, tensile testing, hardness testing in multiple scales 2.) Material, including grain flow, surface discontinuities, upset testing, coefficient of friction and torque testing, chemical analysis, (spectrometer) and 3.) Understand and be proficient in ISO 17025.
  • Review and implement all applicable operating procedures.
  • Cross train employees within QMM section and develop working relationships with QMD section. Develop cross -training matrix showing all details for each employee.
  • Sequence planning of the tasks in the sub-area.
  • Check the implementation of the instructions for this area.
  • Processing complaints at the customer or in-house.
  • Involve supervisor in decision making to improve methods in measurement & testing technology.
  • Handling of quality matters due to special orders from the supervisor.
  • Optimization of scheduling of new products from the point of view of their own area.
  • Processing customer requests and providing data for offers.
  • Inspection of parts for material and surface treatment on behalf of production.
  • Handle complaints regarding raw material and purchased parts, in-house and suppliers.
  • Adjustment of quality problems with external processing with the polluter.
  • Perception of consultancy tasks vs. production in material issues.
  • Perception of consultancy tasks vs. production in quality issues of a dimensional nature

Profil

  • Bachelors degree in Materials or Metallurgy, or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 3 years lab experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in developing tables and charts (Pareto, Paynter, Pivot).
  • Understanding of continuous improvement practices (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • ISO 17025 knowledge preferred
