Gains understanding of customer needs within a targeted market segment and offers valuable proposals for meeting customer requirements and develops sales plans to meet individual sales and project objectives.
- Establish, maintain and create long-term relationships with customers
- Liaison between KAMAX and the customers
- Evaluate and analyze technical specifications, demand and future developmental needs of the customer
- Oversee and coordinate the execution of development and the technical process within KAMAX for customer base
- Support and assist customers to find better solutions and alternatives in the field of Fastening Technology
- Have the knowledge and foresight of the changes and demand in the market with the ability to provide and/or develop solutions for the customer in conjunction with the economic situation and KAMAX
- Responsible for the development and security of KAMAX’s market position within specified customer base

- Prepare technical reports to internal staff and to customers to communicate customer’s needs and developments, new technologies discovered in the market and any other information acquired that is beneficial to the department or organization
- Support and participate in the marketing of KAMAX by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events, as needed.
- Interact collaboratively with members of the Applications/Sales team and other technical experts to optimize internal synergy
- Prepare and create technical presentations
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or 5+ yrs of direct technical experience in mechanical fasteners
- Two or more years of experience in an equivalent position within the automotive industry
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical fastening
- Ability to travel, both international and domestic, to support customer needs and expectations.
- Must be outgoing, communicative, enthusiastic and have strong verbal skills and a desire to strive towards success
- Ability to think and act independently, have self-motivation and require little or no supervision
- Must be highly organized and flexible to handle multiple priorities
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding objectives
- Basic understanding of the strategic planning process
- Must be proficient in the use of Windows-based computer software, especially Excel and Outlook
- SAP knowledge, preferred
