KAMAX is reorganizing its executive board: Dr. Reinhard Rupprecht will take over as CEO of the KAMAX Group on November 20. The 54-year-old was previously Regional CEO Europe and was responsible for the KAMAX entities with the highest number of employees and turnover. Christoph Görtz took over as CFO of the Group on October 16. Together, they will strategically drive forward all of the supplier's business areas to not only continue to guarantee strong competitiveness but also to enable sustainable growth.

As CEO, Dr. Reinhard Rupprecht brings decades of global experience from international corporations and SMEs with a focus on the automotive supply industry, including groups such as Magna. He is characterized above all by the breadth of his expertise: From operations to finance, technology, and innovation to sales - especially for companies transforming. "My goal is to take the entire KAMAX Group to a new level technologically and financially in the next years," emphasizes Rupprecht. "The focus is on increasing competitiveness through innovation to provide our customers with the best possible offer."

CFO Christoph Görtz will primarily continue to drive forward the financial strategy and the topics of digitalization, governance, and sustainability. He also sees the most important goal as ensuring the critical success factors of stability, efficiency, and cost leadership. "I see the role of the CFO as a proactive shield for the company," says the 47-year-old. "The relationship between OEMs and suppliers is currently being renegotiated from scratch in the automotive industry, and there will be many losers and fewer winners. It's clear which side we want to be on." The business administration graduate has over 20 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. Most recently, he was with the Brose Group, where he not only co-managed the plant in Coventry (UK) over the past 16 years but also held various management positions at company headquarters since 2009, including CFO for the Exterior business division and Head of the Global Business Service Center.

The former CEO, Jörg Steins, has expanded the KAMAX Group through acquisitions, new products and production facilities over the past seven years and is leaving the company to pursue a new professional challenge. We thank him for his commitment and wish him all the best in his new role!
