Level 3/6 - The third layer from the bottom "Business Areas" describes the defined market access, where production takes place and how it is distributed.

EUROPE - The continent of Europe is home to the flags of KAMAX' production sites: Germany, Slovakia, Spain and the Czech Republic. These are interconnected via data flows. Cooperation between the individual sites is more efficient. For example, tasks are better distributed among the sites.

A new addition is the site in Poland of the Robert Schröder GmbH, in which KAMAX has acquired a majority stake.

ASIA - Near the "Asia" sign there is a landmass with a Chinese flag on top of it - it represents KAMAX´only Asian production site. The commercial buildings marked with the flags of Japan, South Korea and India are representing KAMAX sales offices in Asia. In addition, the sites will be digitally connected in the future and form a single unit.

AMERICAS - The Mexico and U.S. sites are moving closer together and now form a single unit that is linked by data streams. These represent KAMAX two production sites one in North America and one in Central America.

4fastening - you can see a signpost to 4fastening. This is a logistics company which is part of the KAMAX family.

FACIL - There is a "FACIL" signpost. It shows the way to KAMAX` Joint Venture with ARaymond. In contrast to KAMAX, FACIL offer a full-service concept.

Next level

EUROPE

Europe is KX' oldest and revenue strongest region. It comprises the production sites in Germany, Slovakia, Spain and the Czech Republic. These locations are now interconnected via data streams. Here, we already have high market shares. Therefore, the focus is more on efficiency rather than growth. One key initiative, which contributes to that goal, is the product plant allocation (PPA).

ASIA

Our presence in China is being expanded, as the potential of our products in this constantly growing market is far from exhausted. Due to the increasing demand in Asia, a strategy for the Indian market is being developed to supply our customers quickly and directly. KX has a foothold in Asia with a production facility in China and sales offices in Japan, South Korea and in India. Today, KAMAX' market share here is small. But with the expected growth rates of the Asian economies, there are great opportunities for KAMAX.

AMERICAS

KAMAX has a production facility in the USA and, since 2019, also one in Mexico. The North American market is already quite mature, yet there are opportunities for KAMAX to grow by gaining market share.

4fastening

4fastening is a 100% KAMAX owned logistics company. It enables its multi-industry customers to pool their supply- and spare part demands and to reduce activity-based costs. Complementary to the KAMAX product portfolio, 4fastening has a global network of certified partners in the areas of fasteners and related goods. The company thus ensures supply and offers simplification of the value chain while maintaining the required specifications.

FACIL

FACIL is our joint venture with ARaymond. As international experts for fastening and assembly solutions, the ARaymond network invents, develops, and produces clip systems, fluid connections, and adhesive systems.

While KAMAX develops, produces and sells screws and other fasteners, FACIL offers a full-service concept. This includes not only the connection technology, but also a comprehensive service for the areas of production, quality, purchasing, and logistics. Already integrated in the vehicle's developmental phase, FACIL creates significant cost savings and considerable process improvements for its customers.
