What does internationality mean for you?
Working together with people from different countries and cultures is exciting; however, it's not so easy due to the different languages in particular.
I appreciate the local realities of my home country. Here, I know what's going on.
Working together with people from different countries and cultures enriches me.
An important employee of the department who has special knowledge wants to gain experience in a different area. What is your opinion on this?
That's a great thing for him and is part of employee development. KAMAX as an enterprise will ultimately benefit from this move
It will not be easy to replace him; however, it is personally exciting for him.
I'm not happy, because this means a performance loss in the department and perhaps more work for others at first. Perhaps I can persuade him to stay.
What's your thought on role model behavior in the enterprise?
I think about role models more in terms of personalities in politics, business or sports.
Role models are important to provide orientation to others. I attempt to also be one with respect to performance, but also with regard to my attitude and conduct.
Some of my strengths can serve as a model for others and colleagues might improve themselves through my feedback.
How would you put together a project team?
I take diversity into account, but I also consider possible losses due to friction and consequently attempt to put a team together that is as harmonious as possible.
I decide on a team of experts with similar knowledge and thought-patterns because they work best together.
I value diversity in project teams, in terms of specialization, but also with regard to different personalities, because this is the only way that different perspectives can be incorporated.
For me, this means that I am the leader of the team.
...for me, this means that I am fully responsible for assumed tasks. I only make commitments if I am sure that I can keep them.
...for me, this means that I take on tasks, even if at times I am unsure whether I can really follow through on the commitments.
What is your attitude towards mistakes?
You can learn from mistakes, if you admit them to yourself and precisely analyze who did what wrong.
Mistakes frequently occur through a chain of unfortunate circumstances.
You should learn from mistakes for the future. For us, looking ahead is important, not looking for culprits.
