KAMAX invests in future-oriented education

In order to meet the requirements of the modern industry and to prepare future employees optimally, KAMAX presents an entirely new training concept, comprising new professions, new courses of study and extensive investments.

As automation has increased sharply in the fields of tool manufacturing and production, training contents such as control technology and programming are gaining importance. That is why four new professions will be trained at KAMAX starting August 2016, including cutting machine operators with specialization in CNC turning machine systems or industrial mechanics with specialization in production engineering. In 2017 three additional career possibilities will be added. Seven new study courses round off the program since this year’s summer.

Further qualification for all employees

To implement the new training program, extensive constructional measures are necessary. The two current training facilities for apprentices will be rebuilt into a larger training and development center, equipped with future-oriented technologies such as a robot training unit and a single-stage press. On their way to industry 4.0, present KAMAX employees will also be further qualified in the new training and development center. Furthermore, the training is supplemented by language trainings and the opportunity to go abroad. “I am proud to say that since shortly all our apprentices enjoy English classes to transcend possible language barriers and to be able to work at our worldwide KAMAX locations after their education”, states Michael Resch, Director Human Resources Operations Germany.
