KAMAX L.P. achieves “Outstanding Quality”

Our Operations in USA, recently received the “Outstanding Quality Performance” Award by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Ashi Uppal, President of KAMAX L.P., stated: “We should be proud of this accomplishment and continue to strive to be better each day to earn the respect of our customers.”

The award is in recognition of the accomplishment throughout the year 2015. In order to achieve this KAMAX had to meet the following performance metrics:

Quality score of 100% for all 12 months
Warranty score of 100% or null for all 12 months
No Forever Requirement Violations
No Third Party Containment Problem Resolutions
No business hold or source hold status
No Yard holds
Met TS 16949 Certification requirements

Fulfilling high demands

Frank Sabouni (SQE Fastener Commodity), Jessica Griffiths (Buyer) and David Calkins (Engineering) from FCA presented the award, when they visited Lapeer at the end of October. In their presentation they also referred to a quote by Sergio Marchionne, Chief Executive Officer of FCA: “Being a supplier to this Group is not a walk in the park, and never will be, because our commitment to the customer is not negotiable!”
